Orders are shipped with FedEx Express.

Returns & Size Exchanges

Requests must be submitted within 7 calendar days of delivery.

The delivery date shown by the carrier tracking is Day 1.

Return Shipping

Return shipping must be arranged and paid for by the customer.

WBU does not provide prepaid return labels.

Returning an Item

Items must be unused, unwashed, unaltered and returned in original condition with all original tags attached.

Trying an item on to assess fit is different from wearing or using it.

Refunds

Once the returned parcel has been delivered to WBU and checked, the refund is processed within 14 working days.

The Tuxedo Peacoat. A distinctive interpretation of Sealup's classic naval outerwear, crafted in deep black cotton velvet for a completely different approach to the traditional peacoat. The smooth velvet surface gives the black colour exceptional depth and subtly changes with the light, bringing the double-breasted silhouette naturally into evening and leisure dressing.
Designed for occasions when something more individual is called for, this peacoat moves easily from dinners, cocktails, theatre and private events to festive evenings, city weekends and more relaxed leisure wear. Its character can shift considerably depending on the styling from a white shirt and tie with tailored trousers to black knitwear and grey flannel, white trousers, a cream roll-neck or simply dark denim.
Wide lapels, the double-breasted construction and Sealup logo buttons preserve the unmistakable identity of the traditional naval peacoat, while the black velvet transforms it into a more sophisticated, tuxedo-inspired expression. The applied anchor motif at the cuff adds a distinctive nautical detail and can be carefully removed by unpicking the stitching for a cleaner and more understated appearance.
Made in Italy from 98% cotton velvet with 2% elastane, the coat is finished with an acetate lining and lightweight polyester padding. It is conceived for the man who already owns the classics and wants something different in his wardrobe a black velvet peacoat with enough presence for evening dressing, yet relaxed enough to become a distinctive piece for leisure.

We suggest choosing the same Italian size you normally wear in a classic jacket or blazer. For example, if you usually wear size 50 in a jacket or blazer, choose size 50 in this Sealup peacoat.

The measurements in the table refer to the finished garment and are expressed in centimetres. Slight variations may occur due to the manufacturing process.
